Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, Puy-deDomme France in August 9th 1976. Audrey is the largest child in a family of four. She was encouraged by her parents, a dentist and a teacher who were both teachers to follow her love of theatre. This contrasted to an earlier desire to pursue a career as a primateologist since she was a fan of monkeys. The early success of her career and the rapid growth in popularity was a sign of her development as an actor. When she graduated in 1998, her education, she was selected to take part in Jeunes Premiers which is a French show on TV that is a talent-scouting initiative, which is which was run by Canal+. There she received the award for best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. This led her to pursue a professional career as an actor. While she attended the Institut Catholique de Paris and went to church as a child, Tautou is now averse to her religious upbringing and has stated that she's not Catholic. Her acting and modelling careers were intertwined. Her image was the mainstay for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is known as the Chanel Muse. She also has a serious passion for photography. She recently produced an exhibition of her work for the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. Through her photography, she is mainly focused on celebrities and the spotlight. Cameras are focused towards journalists who scrutinized her rise to fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's international success and fame soared after her appearance as Amelie Poulain's main actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was an international box-office hit, receiving accolades at awards galas around the globe. Amelie was the highest-rated french-language film to hit the US. In the wake of this achievement, Tautou was featured in numerous movies ranging including British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de fiancailles, and then he moved into Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code together with Tom Hanks.
